Children's Liturgy of the Word

This ministry strives to bring the Word of God alive to the children.  At the 9:00 a.m. Mass or Sundays September through May, we invite the children downstairs to listen to reading written in language clear to them.  Briefly, we highlight key themes through discussion and a child centered homily.  Coordinators are parents who help prepare behind the scenes and signal the time to rejoin the upstairs assembly.  Homilists are parents and clergy who proclaim the Word and try to make it meaningful to our children.
