Sacraments

The sacraments are outward signs instituted by Christ to give grace. Below is an abbreviated schedule of sacraments at St. Jane Frances. For more information about receiving sacraments, please see the links at left.

Baptism

Infants: Baptism is celebrated on the first and third Sunday of the month at 1:15 pm.

Children ages 7 & older: RCIA adapted for Children

Parents are required to attend the Baptismal Preparation Program. One Sponsor must be Catholic, both Christian. Please call the parish office to make arrangements to attend one of the Baptismal Preparation sessions offered the first Tuesday of each Month at 7:30 pm. and to schedule a Baptism. Baptisms are not celebrated during Lent

Adults: Received into the Church by Baptism or Profession of Faith at the Easter Vigil following a year-long Catechumenate (RCIA). Please call the Parish Office for more information.

Holy Eucharist

Monday through Saturday - 8:30am
Saturday - 5:00pm
Sunday - 7:30am, 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:00pm

Reconciliation (aka Penance, Confession)

Saturday 3:30 - 4:30pm or by appointment

Confirmation

Young People: Confirmation program offered annually to students 9th grade through age 17.

Adults: Programs offered annually. Contact the parish office to sign up for preparation for the Adult Confirmation.

Marriage

Couples must contact a Priest or Deacon at least six months prior to the marriage date. Marriage preparation is required through the Sponsor Couple Process. Contact the Parish Office for information.

Holy Orders

In the Sacrament of Holy Orders, or Ordination, the priest being ordained vows to lead other Catholics by bringing them the sacraments, by proclaiming the Gospel and by providing other means to holiness. For more information, please contact Fr. Carl or browse the links our our vocations page.

Anointing of the Sick

Scheduled twice a year in the Fall and Spring. Please notify the parish office when a parishioner is hospitalized or unable to attend Mass.
