Inclement Weather

Sunday Policy:
If Anne Arundel County declares a snow emergency, all Religious Education Classes and parish events will be canceled.

Monday–Friday:
If Anne Arundel County School System opens two hours late or is closed due to weather, morning Mass is cancelled. If Anne Arundel schools are closed, day and evening parish activities will be canceled.

Saturdays:
The parish will follow the decision of Anne Arundel Community College. If Classes will begin at 10 A.M. or later, or are cancelled, Morning Mass and parish events will be canceled. When Anne Arundel County schools close for weather emergencies during the day, all evening activities at the parish are cancelled.

Religious Ed:
Sunday morning Religious Ed closings will be announced on WBAL 1090 AM Radio.

In the event of a snow emergency, Archbishop O'Brien reminds Catholics in the Archdiocese of Baltimore that Church law excuses them from fulfilling the Sunday obligation to attend Mass due to a grave cause, such as unsafe travel due to severe weather conditions. Those who cannot safely attend Mass are encouraged to listen to the Sunday radio Mass on WBAL-AM 1090 at 9:30 am or watch the TV Mass on the Eternal Word Television Network.
