C.H.E.R.I.S.H. Retreat for Husbands and Wives

Sept. 17, 2022 – Husbands and Wives! Come Celebrate and Nourish Your Marriage!

Why is a Great Marriage So Hard to Attain?
3 Keys in Ephesians 5 to a Fulfilling Catholic Marriage

“The word of God tells us that the family is entrusted to a man, a woman and their children, so that they may become a communion of persons in the image of the union of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

(no. 29 from Amoris Laetitia: Pope Francis’ exhortation “The Joy of Love,” April 2016)

C.H.E.R.I.S.H. stands for “Catholic Hearts Espoused Rejoice In Sacramental Hope.” Cherish is an opportunity for couples to celebrate their marriage, to spend some quality time with each other, and maybe learn a few things that might improve their marriage from the speakers and exercises presented during the program. All this while enjoying a good meal. The purpose is to make good marriages great. In most professions, continuing education credits are required. Marriage shouldn’t be a one time preparation and 10 minutes at the altar. It is a lifetime commitment that takes work. An evening spent with your spouse can be a quality tool for better shaping your marriage.
