Come join us! We invite every Catholic man 18 years of age or older to join the Knights of Columbus at St. Jane Frances. Exciting things are happening at Council 10966 as we are a recent recipient of 3 Star Council awards—a testament to the strength of our members and leadership! Bond with fellow Catholic men and GIVE BACK by helping support our church, school, youth group, and community through simple acts of Charity, Unity, Fraternity & Patriotism.
Don’t have the time? No problem!
Belonging to the Knights does NOT require a huge time investment, and there is NO minimum time required! We all have other commitments including family and work, so we simply ask for whatever time you can offer. As the saying goes: “Many hands make light work.” So you can volunteer only in the programs and events that interest you. Or just join us for fraternal friendships with other Catholic men in our parish!
Our council provides many opportunities throughout the year to give back including:
- Lenten Fish Frys
- Blood Drives
- Pancake breakfasts
- Crab Feast & Bull Roast
- Christmas Nativity scene setups
- Church maintenance projects
- Tootsie Roll drives to support those with special needs
- Corpus Christi procession
- Rosaries and Honor Guards at funerals
- Youth Group support
- Monthly member meetings and social hours
- and more!
We give back to our Church and community through:
- We support our seminarians through the Knights of Columbus “RSVP” program (Refund Support Vocations Program) where we provide stipends to assist them during their seminary studies.
- We support expecting moms and new moms through the Knights of Columbus “ASAP” pro-life program (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) which donate money and goods to pro-life women’s centers.
- We clothe needy children in our community by donating up to 84 free coats per year through “Coats for Kids.”
- We feed the hungry and homeless by preparing and donating casseroles and other food via “Food for Families” programs.
- We support those with intellectual disabilities through our Tootsie Roll drives and Special Olympics support.
- We aid victims of natural disasters and other catastrophic events.
- We support veterans and the disabled with FREE wheelchairs.
