The Homebound Communion Ministry is seeking volunteers
The Homebound Communion Ministry provides a means for those parishioners who are unable to make it to Mass, for whatever reason, to be able to receive communion on at least a weekly basis. These folks may be sick, incapacitated, in the hospital or maybe just not able to get around as well as they used to.
The Ministry is looking for two things. First, if you know of anyone who may find themselves in a situation where they can not make it to Mass and would like to receive communion, please let us know. You can get a message to us through the Parish offices. Their phone numbers are listed on the front page of the bulletin. Secondly, we are looking for volunteers to help in this ministry. If you have time during the week or on weekends, there are opportunities to be able to help out. If you are interested but not yet an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion or E.M., please do not let that stop you. We can help with getting you trained as one.
